Soulfit Attendance Policy

Please find below details of our Attendance Policy.  

Please be advised that the Yoga Alliance TM standards are mandatory.  

Our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training programme must be completed in full for you to register with Yoga Alliance.

On Signing our Training Agreement, you are confirming your acceptance of these terms.

We require 100% attendance to graduate & receive a certificate of completion from our programme. Class attendance will be taken throughout the training. Our programme expects students to be on time for class, after breaks, and after lunch. Please let Soulfit know if you will be late. 

In the case of any emergency absences or extenuating circumstances, please notify the programme director immediately. If a student has a planned absence that conflicts with attendance in the training, please contact the programme director in advance to discuss options & how they intend to make up any missed hours.  

Students are responsible for rescheduling missed hours to make up any course material they have missed. 

Each student is expected to be at each session 15-minutes before the start time to set up & to enable training to start on time. If the student is late more than once, this may result in a deduction of hours from their total contact hours. 

Absences may be made up if we have available teacher trainers & studio openings at the rate of £45 per hour. Students recognise that, if they miss training hours that they have not made up, they will not graduate from the programme. 

A leave of absence from the programme will be granted due to medical disability or other extraordinary circumstances at the discretion of the programme director. In this case our refund policy will apply to unused tuition & the student must reapply for the next available session & pay the difference, if any, of any remaining tuition &/or any related administrative fees. If tuition is increased for the next available session, the student must pay the higher rate.
