Yoga classes under the Iyengar method concentrate on the practise of yogic postures (asanas) & yogic breathing (pranayama). The Iyengar system of learning is methodical & progressive, props are used where necessary to strengthen students & improve their alignment, & more difficult poses are introduced gradually.
Students can progress safely at their own pace, to suit their body, & without risk of injury
